Israeli Military Confirms Recovery
JERUSALEM (Breaking News) — The Israeli military announced Friday that it has recovered the bodies of three hostages from the Gaza Strip. The three were identified as Shani Louk, Amit Buskila, and Yitzhak Gelernter.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the death of 23-year-old German-Israeli woman Shani Louk. Louk was seen being taken to the Gaza Strip during Hamas's attack on a music festival in October 2023.
Shani Louk's father, Nissim, told Channel 12 that the IDF's announcement that the bodies had been recovered "will be a gift" for the family.
